Biography

Risely Esquea Compres is a distinguished legal professional with a strong background in international law and a passion for excellence. Holding an impressive educational portfolio, she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the prestigious Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra, providing her with a strong foundation in the field.

Recognizing the importance of a global perspective, Risely expanded her knowledge by obtaining an Associate on Science Degree on International Business from Tompkins Cortland Community College. Her exceptional academic performance, reflected in a perfect cumulative grade point average of 10, earned her membership in the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, a distinguished organization for community college students in America, since 2015.

Driven by a passion for international law, Risely pursued two Master’s degrees in Spain at the Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economía. She first obtained a Master’s in International Law, Foreign Trade, and International Relations, studying part from said program on Columbia University, broadening her understanding of the complexities of global legal affairs. She further deepened her expertise by acquiring a Master’s in International Law, Diplomatic and Consular Law, with a focus on Foreign Trade and International Law and working as a paralegal in Spain. These educational achievements have equipped Risely with comprehensive knowledge and proficiency across various legal domains.

Risely’s wealth of knowledge and exceptional skills have made her an invaluable member of the Intellectual Property team at ROCA, where her contributions are vital to the firm’s ongoing growth and success. Throughout her professional journey, Risely has actively applied her extensive legal knowledge in practice, demonstrating her proficiency in areas such as Tax Law, Civil Law, ADR, Corporate Law, Intellectual Property Law, Litigation, and Real Property Law.

Risely combines outstanding academic achievements, legal expertise, and a diverse skill set. As an integral part of ROCA’s IP team, she continues to play a pivotal role in the firm’s development.
